Matt leads client relationships and operations at Dear Future. Matt works closely with all clients to develop brand and design strategy that drives business results. Founding the company with Blake after recognizing the power of design to create long-term business impact over short-term communications and advertising.
In his past life he was business lead at agencies iris and Saatchi & Saatchi in both London and New York. Matt led teams that created award winning campaigns for HSBC, Spectrum, Lenovo, Visa, Coca-Cola, BMW, Sony Ericsson and Pernod Ricard in three continents.

Over the last 25 years Blake has been the creative behind the strategies of many successful brands. In addition to traditional design and brand creation, his work includes spatial design, wayfinding, point-of-purchase information and communication systems for brand and consumer engagement in retail environments. Globally, he has guided brand design and design thinking for Illy Coffee, Sony Ericsson and Lexus.
Before founding Dear Future, he was Creative Director of Saatchi Design Worldwide for almost ten years, and Executive Creative Director Design of Saatchi & Saatchi New York.
His brand and design experience stretches across a wide range of market categories including banking, utilities, fashion, electronics, telecommunication, FMCG, government, education and numerous startup brands.

Richard spent nearly two decades at the helm of South African design and branding consultancy, Disturbance. The firm built a formidable reputation as one of the country’s most influential creative shops and regularly ranked among South Africa’s top ten agencies despite staying small. Under Richard’s guidance Disturbance created programs that garnered over 60 awards globally for brand design that spanned disciplines and sectors.
Richard moved to New York in 2013 and has since worked on a range of brands that include L’Oreal, Calvin Klein, CVS, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Walmart, Lenovo, American Express, SAP and Netflix.
